This is part of a series on learning how to letter, with emphasis on using this skill in your planner.
It's the moment I've been dreading.
I've made no secret of the fact that I am totally inexperienced when it comes to brush lettering and modern calligraphy. I've also made no secret of the fact that I get really irritable when I have to do something I'm not great at.
All that aside, I did promise to do some videos for LLL focusing on brush lettering, and I (mostly) keep my promises. I'm taking a slightly different approach this time, as I have no interest in passing myself off as some sort of brush lettering expert. (Spoiler alert: I'm hella NOT.) Instead, I see these videos as a learning experience together, where I have to follow my own advice about practicing and taking things slow. (Spoiler alert: I suck ass at taking my own advice.)
Sooo... If you aren't interested in fumbling through brush lettering with me I won't be butthurt. Check these videos out; these folks really are great at the whole brush lettering thing. Matter of fact, check 'em out even if you do decide to watch my shit.
